More About Me...
Adam Kerry has been a Certified Athletic Trainer at Portage Health since August of 2005. Since coming to Portage Health, he has worked in many areas including orthopaedics, rehab and local high schools. He is currently covering Finlandia University soccer, hockey and baseball.
The Negaunee High School graduate attended Northern Michigan University. Kerry graduated in May of 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training.
Kerry is currently a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association and Michigan Athletic Trainers’ Society. He served 10 years in the Michigan Army National Guard as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Specialist. From 2008-2009, Kerry served in Afghanistan as part of Route Clearance Package 14 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His platoon was tasked with detecting and defeating IEDs . He was honorably discharged as a sergeant in 2010.
Adam and his wife Becky currently live in Hancock with their children Izak, Lily and Ellie. They enjoy camping and traveling.
