UP Health System - Portage Announces Commitment to the Community through Capital Improvements

UP Health System – Portage announces more than $2 million in capital improvement projects underway at the hospital.
This investment resulted from a collaborative effort between LifePoint Health and UP Health System – Portage. Executive leadership and administration worked closely with medical staff to identify potential advancements in medical technology.
The capital improvements span multiple departments in the hospital directly related to patient care. These projects include a new mammography machine, ultrasound machine, CT scanner, data storage devices, and dialysis machines.

These investments at UP Health System – Portage are an investment in our community, and in our patients, which directly supports our mission: making communities healthier.” said Roy Vinson, Interim CEO at UPHS - Portage.
