Senior Meals Home Delivered Meal ImageOur goal is to provide you with nutritious, comforting, carefully-prepared meals in your home, while you heal. Our meals are researched and prepared specifically tailored to the diet of older individuals. We do all the work so you don’t have to.

    We have two programs:

    • Senior Meals Congregate Meals: This is designed for the 60-and-older population. People come together to eat lunch and socialize in a group setting.
    • Senior Meals Home-Delivered Meals: As the name suggests, these meals with be delivered to homebound seniors and are designed to assist with dietary needs. Home-delivered meals are for seniors who are not able to attend Congregate Dining sites. Home-delivered meals are offered daily, five days a week (Monday-Friday).

    Which meals are available?

We offer a mid-day meal. Each and every meal is a blend of good taste and balanced nutrition.

What are the options for those on special diets?

All meals meet or exceed one-third of the USDA-recommended daily allowance of vitamins and minerals needed in the older individual’s diet. A nutrition specialist monitors the sodium, vitamin and cholesterol content of the meals. Meals are easily adjusted to the requirements of special diets.

    What does it cost?

Donations help us keep the Senior Meals program running. Meals are never based on an individual’s ability to pay. Suggested donations are as follows:

    Mid-day meal     $3.00

    • You are homebound and cannot leave your home on your own.
    • You are unable to prepare meals.

"I just had surgery. Do I qualify?"

You or your doctor can make a referral. If you need meals for a week, for a month – or longer – let us help you get back on your feet.

"My mother just passed away. Can my father qualify for a meals program?"

It takes times to adjust to the loss of a loved one. And in doing so, your father will need proper nutrition. Give us a call to see how we can help in this time of need.
