Elissa a physical therapist, specializing in wound care and acute care physical therapy for Portage Health Rehabilitation in Hancock, Michigan. She received her bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from The University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School in 1993. She became wound care certified (WCC) in 2005 from the National Alliance of Wound Care. Elissa is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. (APTA)

Elissa has worked in acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities and home health since 1993, adding wound care in 1994. She joined Portage Health in 2005.
