Portage Health Foundation Ball and Auction:
An evening in Monte Carlo
We are so excited to present our 20th Annual Portage Health Foundation Ball & Auction. This year's event will be like nothing else you have ever experienced in the Copper Country! The fundraiser is the premiere activity for the Portage Health Foundation which invests in healthcare equipment and services at Portage Health as well as provides healthcare resources to the community. The 2012 event will be held on May 19 at the Rosza Center for the Performing Arts.
Proceeds
Every year, the Foundation focuses its attention to an area within Portage Health. Every once in a while a department, program or service needs equipment and funding to increase services to the community. In years past, the Foundation has helped fund expenses for:
- Sports Medicine Institute: operational costs
- Dialysis: new equipment
- Radiology: new equipment
- Cardiac, respiratory and sleep medicine
- Physician recruitment
- Addressing childhood obesity
- Enhancing emergency services
This year, proceeds from the Foundation Ball with support the prevention of childhood obesity.
Auction
The majority of money raised from this event comes from the silent and live auctions that take place on the night of the event.

Have fun playing popular casiono games with other guests ... all for a good cause!
Mediterranean Cuisine
The creativity has been flowing with Mighigan Tech Dining Services. They have concoted a menu that will be served in the style of a Tapas lounge. There will be two serving times for dinner. Please indicate which serving time you prefer when you RSVP.
