    Portage Health sponsors several fitness events in the community. Sometimes choosing to participate in an event doubles as a healthy goal. Check back often to see what events are coming up next!

    Class Where When

    Kettlebell Pump

    Work on improving your strength in this fun Kettlebell class

    Portage Health - Houghton 

    T & Th 6:45-7:30 p.m.

    Indoor Cycling

    This class is an amazing cardio challenge made up of varying speeds and resistance levels, hill climbs, flat runs and more. Music will keep you on the proper pace while keeping you thoroughly motivated. Let the instructor guide you through a ride that you can tailor to fit your own personal fitness level and goals. This class is great for beginner to advanced participants – participants set their own resistance levels!

    Cycle Fusion

    This class combines the cardio challenge of indoor cycling with 15 minutes of strength training and core exercies. Great for all levels!

    Core Cycle

    Cycling combined with a great core workout, all wrapped up in 45 minutes!

    TRX/Kettlebell Fusion

    This class combines the best of both Kettlebell and TRX Suspension exercises into a functional and powerful circuit training class. This circuit format is perfect for those on the fast track to reaching their fitness goals and busting through a workout plateau!

    Zumba

    Fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will keep you coming back for more! Interval training routines are used to burn fat and blast calories! Join the party. No dance experience required!

    Core Combo

    An excellent full body, functional fitness workout focused on strengthening the abdominals and toning the core.

    Take your fitness to a whole new level this summer with Adventure Bootcamp. It's the most challenging workout you'll ever love. Groups will meet four days per week at varying outdoor locations.

    Boomer Bootcamp

    Jump start your summer with a Bootcamp designed for the over 40 Baby Boomers! Cardio and weight workouts to challenge and increase balance, endurance and strength. Group will meet three days per week at varying outdoor locations.
