Childbirth Classes
Portage Health offers pregnancy-related services designed to educate parents-to-be on childbirth.
A healthy childbirth includes planning your pregnancy. Schedule a pre-pregnancy counseling session today with your physician.
It is recommended that you take these childbirth courses at the appropriate stage of your pregnancy. However, you may attend whenever it is most convenient for you.
Childbirth Education (1-day) courses
This class is fit into one day. It is available once a month. It addresses topics such as relaxation techniques, pain management, baby care, car safety and much more. Please bring 2 pillows with you to class.
Cost is $40. Vouchers from the Health Department are accepted as payment.
Childbirth Education (4-week) courses
This class is once a week for four weeks. It addresses topics such as relaxation techniques, pain management, baby care, car safety and much more.
