Darlene is a physical therapist at Portage Health Rehabilitation in Hancock. She has more than 20 years of experience practicing in several states including Florida, Washington, North Carolina, North Dakota and California. She has provided treatment in outpatient, inpatient, nursing home and in-home settings.
Darlene received her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (physical therapy) degree from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada, and has also completed numerous short courses including sequences from the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and the McKenzie Institute among several others. Her treatment techniques include all of these methods, as well as methods developed through years of experience.
Darlene has called Houghton home since 1995. She lives here with her husband and two boys. She enjoys outdoor athletics and activities, as well as reading and crafts.
