HANCOCK – The
Portage Health Family Birthing Center has lifted its temporary restriction on visiting children.
“We have seen a significant decrease in local cases of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV),” said Cheryl Frankovich, unit manager of the birthing center. “We appreciate the patience that families have shown, and we are happy to allow siblings into the birthing center once again.”
Daily visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Children under 12 are not permitted to visit, except for the newborn’s siblings.
