HANCOCK — Portage Health presents its Second Annual “Men's Health Tune-Up” from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 25 at the main Portage Health campus in Hancock.

Board-certified urologist Andrew Jahoda, MD is the event's keynote speaker, who will present on prostate and related issues for men.

The $20 fee also includes the following screenings: hearing, cholesterol panel, blood sugar, blood pressure, PSA (prostate cancer) and bone density. Results of these screenings will be distributed during the afternoon.

The event also includes a variety of demonstrations and a wild game lunch. Participants who intend to take advantage of the screenings should fast for 12 hours prior to blood draw at 9 a.m.

Last year's event drew the maximum number of 75 participants, so those interested are asked to register as soon as possible. "It's a great value when you consider all of the screenings, the information, the on-the-spot results and the lunch," said Portage Health Community Outreach Coordinator Arnie Kinnunen. "It's information men want and need in a concise and welcoming format."

Pre-registration is required. For more information, call 483-1149 or download a registration form at portagehealth.org/menshealthtuneup.
