HANCOCK – At its annual meeting, the Portage Health Foundation Board of Directors reelected Roger Helman, Dana Johnson, Terry Kinzel, Brent Peterson and Jerry Quello to three-year terms that will expire in 2014.
“Bringing these five back for another term shows the commitment of our group,” said Jim Bogan, CEO and president of Portage Health and the health foundation’s executive director. “The things our foundation board has done the last few years are quite impressive.”
The non-profit organization was established in 1990 to support the mission of Portage Health. This mission includes the provision of medical services in multiple settings such as physician services, acute inpatient care, emergency care, outpatient services, home care and elderly living.
“The foundation is imperative to our organization’s growth,” said Bogan. “The foundation’s assets have grown by 14 percent in the last year.”
The five reelected directors are part of a 15-person board. In the election of officers Lennon Mattila Hughes retained the position of president, Helman as vice president and Quello as secretary/treasurer.
