Portage Health Rehab is proud to welcome Elizabeth Miller, OTRL, to its staff. Miller is providing pediatric outpatient services at Portage Health Rehab’s Houghton clinic, and contracted services through the Copper Country Intermediate School District.
“I believe occupational therapy is a profession that requires compassion, sensitivity and understanding to better help improve the quality of life for all individuals,” Miller said. “My goal is to provide innovative therapies to help promote quality of life, and to inspire and motivate patients and their families.”
Prior to joining Portage Health’s staff Miller worked at the White Pine Rehabilitation and Care Center in Howell, Michigan, and at Hillsdale Community Health Center in Hillsdale, Michigan. She also spent time working at Ann Arbor Public Schools.
Miller has experience in inpatient rehab, school systems and outpatient clinics specializing in children with sensory processing dysfunction. She completed her post-graduate studies at Western Michigan University, and is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
