Restricted Visitation for Family Birthing Center

Due to the high occurance of illness in children in the area, the Portage Health Family Birthing Center will be temporarily closed to visiting children.

This policy is effective immediately for children under the age of 12 and any one experiencing any illness symptoms.

Healthy adults are still allowed to enter the Family Birthing Center during regular visiting hours (daily, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4 p.m.-8 p.m.).

We apologize for the inconvenience. This policy is being put in place to protect the health of the newborns.
