24-hour Holter Monitor Study

During the 24-hour Holter Monitor Studies, adhesive electrodes are placed on your chest to be worn for 24 hours to monitor your heart rhythm.

30-day Event Monitor

The 30 Day Event Monitor test utilizes a small recorder that will transmit your heart rhythm over the phone. You will carry this recorder with you for 30 days.

48-hour Holter Monitor Study

During the 48-hour Holter Monitor Studies, adhesive electrodes are placed on your chest to be worn for 24 hours to monitor your heart rhythm.

Echo Stress Test

The Echo Stress Test is performed while you are laying down.

Electrocardiogram (EKG)

During the EKG, you wil have 10 adhesive electrodes placed on you chest, arms, and legs to monitor your heart rhythm.

Electroencephalogram (EEG)

During this test you will have electrodes attached to your scalp, which will be used to pick up and record the electrical impulses that occur inside your brain.

Graded Exercise Stress Test (GXT)

The Graded stress test includes an exercise portion, which lasts approximately 3-15 minutes.

Myoview Stress Test

The Myoview stress test include an exercise portion, which last approximately 3-15 minutes.

Pharmacologic (Persantine/Adenosine) Stress Test

The Pharmacological Stress Tests, also known as Persantine and Adenosine Stress Tests, utilize an intravenous medication that shows the circulation of your heart with a nuclear imaging machine without exercise.

Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)

The Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) is a series of breathing tests in which you will be asked to breathe through a machine to determine air flow into and out of your lungs.

 

Trans Esophogeal Echocardiogram (TEE)

At Portage, we perform Trans Thoracic Echocardiograms (TTEs) and Trans Esophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs).
