Mercedes is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. 
Spending most of her time working in the Family Medicine clinic in Hancock, Mercedes' focus is to improve access to healthcare, especially for those who are uninsured. She also likes the variety of patients she gets to see by working in family medicine.

Mercedes is originally from the Upper Peninsula.

In her spare time, Mercedes enjoys snowboarding, traveling and mid-century modern design.
