    New Analyzer Image

    Chemistry Technologist Gary Jordon demonstrates the lab's Vitros 5600 analyzer at Portage Health.

    We analyze body fluids to find metabolic changes or inaccuracies, deficiencies or problems. We also:

    • perform 175 different tests.
    • perform 120 comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) tests and five prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests a day.

    Our newest chemistry analyzer, the Vitros 5600 can run 90 different patient samples at once. It uses slides, microwells and microtip technologies to combine two analyzers into one platform.
